Given : Here given that $f(x)=\left | x \right |$

To prove : Here we have to prove that

$f\; o\; f=f$

Solution :

Here we have to compute

$f\; o\; f (x)$

We have ,

$\begin{aligned} &(f \circ f)(x)=f(f(x)) \\ &=f(|x|) \\ &=|| x|| \\ &=|x| \\ &=f(x) \end{aligned}$

So, $(f \circ f)(x)=f(x) \forall x \in R$

Hence, $f\; o\; f=f$
