Given: Ratio of the number of green cover and brown cover books is 2:3.

The number of green cover books =18
\\ \frac{ \text{The number of green cover books }}{ \text{The number of brown cover books }}= \frac{2}{3} \\ \\ \therefore \text{The number of brown cover books} =18 \times \frac{3}{2}=27

Option C is correct.
