Ramesh's income = Rs. 28000 per month

Rama's income = Rs. 36000 per month
Total earnings = Rs. (28000+36000) = Rs 64000
(a) Ratio of Ramesh’s earnings to their total earnings

\frac{\text { Ramesh's income per month }}{\text { Total monthly income }}=\frac{\text { Rs. } 28000}{\text { Rs. } 64000}=\frac{7}{16}=7: 16


(b) Ratio of Rama’s earnings to their total earnings.
