Given: Number of persons working in the company =288
Number of men =112
Number of women =288-112=176

(a) Ratio of men to that of women
\frac{\text { Number of men }}{\text { Number of women }}=\frac{112}{176}=\frac{7}{11}=7: 11


(b) Ratio of men to the total number of persons

\frac{\text { Number of men }}{\text { Number of persons }}=\frac{112}{288}=\frac{7}{18}=7: 18
(c) Ratio of women to the total number of persons.

\frac{\text { Number of women }}{\text { Number of persons }} =\frac{176}{288}=\frac{11}{18}=11: 18
