There are ‘b’ boys and ‘g’ girls in a class. The ratio of the number of boys to the total number of students in the class is:

Given: Number of boys = b

Number of girls = g

Total number of students = number of boys + number of girls

                                        =b + g

The ratio of the number of boys to the total number of students in the class is:

\\ \frac{\text { Number of boys }}{\text { Total number of students }}=\frac{b}{b+g}

Option A is correct.
