Given:  A is a square matrix such that A^{2}=I

Hint: you must know about the concept of square matrix

Solution: A^{2}=I

\Rightarrow A.A=I

Multiply both sides by A^{-1}

\begin{aligned} &\text { A. }\left(\mathrm{AA}^{-1}\right)=\mathrm{I} \mathrm{A}^{-1}\\ &\mathrm{A} . \mathrm{I}=\mathrm{A}^{-1}\\ &\Rightarrow \mathrm{A}^{-1}=\mathrm{A} \end{aligned}

Hence, option (b) is correct
