Given: f(x) is continuous at x=1 and

            f(x)=\left\{\begin{array}{l} 5 x-4,0<x \leq 1 \\ 4 x^{2}+3 b x, 1<x<2 \end{array}\right.

Explanation:

                    f(x) is continuous at x=1

                    \begin{aligned} &\lim _{x \rightarrow 1^{+}} f(x)=f(1) \\ &\lim _{x \rightarrow 1} 4 x^{2}+3 b x=5 \times 1-4 \\ &=>4+3 b=1 \\ &=>3 b=-3 \\ &=>b=-1 \end{aligned}
