15 = 3 x 5

The L.C.M. of 16 and 15 is 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 = 240

\\\frac{11}{16}=\frac{11 \times 15}{16 \times 15}=\frac{165}{240} \\ \\ \\ \frac{14}{15}=\frac{14 \times 16}{15 \times 16}=\frac{224}{240}

\frac{11}{16}<\frac{14}{15}
