Distance travelled by Katrina in the morning =6 \frac{1}{2} \mathrm{~km}

Distance travelled by Katrina in the evening=8 \frac{3}{4} \mathrm{~km}

Total distance travelled by Katrina = =6 \frac{1}{2} \mathrm{~km}+8 \frac{3}{4} \mathrm{~km}
\\=\frac{13}{2} \mathrm{~km}+\frac{35}{4} \mathrm{~km} \\\\

LCM of 4,2 = 4

=\frac{13 \times 2+35}{4} \mathrm{~km}

\\=\frac{61}{4} \mathrm{~km} \\\\=15 \frac{1}{4} \mathrm{~km}
