\frac{100}{9}-8 \frac{1}{3}=\frac{100}{9}-\frac{8 \times 3 +1}{3}=\frac{100}{9}-\frac{25}{3}

LCM of 9,3  = 9

\\=\frac{100- 25 \times 3}{9}=\frac{100-75}{9}=\frac{25}{9} =2 \frac{7}{9}
