Answer: 1.375

Hint: Draw a graph

Given: The cost of F1 is 20 paisa per 2gm and the cost of F_{2} is 15 paisa per 2gm.

Solution: The cost of 25gm of food F_{1} and F_{2} is Rs. (0.20x + 0.15y).    

where, ( x is quantity of F_{1} and y is quantity of F_{2} )                    

\therefore Minimize z=0.2x+0.15y

Sub to,

\begin{aligned} &0.25 x+0.10 y \geq 1 \\ \end{aligned}\begin{aligned} &0.75 x+1.50 y \geq 7.5 \\ \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &1.6 x+0.8 \geq 10 \\ \end{aligned}

              \begin{aligned} &x, y \\ \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &\operatorname{At}(10,0)=\frac{20}{100}(10)+\frac{15}{100}(0) \\ \end{aligned}

                   \begin{aligned} &\quad=2 \\ \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &\begin{aligned} \text { At }\left(0, \frac{25}{2}\right) &=0.20(0)+0.1\left(\frac{25}{2}\right) \\ &=1.875 \\ \end{aligned} \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &\begin{aligned} \text { At }(5,25) &=0.20(5)+0.15(25) \\ &=1.375 \\ & \\ \text { Minimum } &=1.375 \end{aligned} \end{aligned}
