Provide solution for RD Sharma Maths Class 12 Chapter 30 Probability Exercise 30.3 question 1.

Hint: Just simplify and use formula of probability

Given:

\begin{aligned} &P(A)=\frac{7}{13} \\ &P(B)=\frac{9}{13} \\ &P(A \cap B)=\frac{4}{13} \end{aligned}            

Solution:

Using, P(A \mid B)=\frac{P(A \cap B)}{P(B)} \text { and } P(B \mid A)=\frac{P(A \cap B)}{P(A)}

Required Probability, 

P(A \mid B)=\frac{\frac{4}{18}}{\frac{9}{18}}=\frac{4}{9}
