GIVEN:

\begin{aligned} &|\vec{a}|=1 \quad|\vec{b}|=2 \\ &|\vec{a} \times \vec{b}|=\sqrt{3} \end{aligned}

SOLUTION:

We know,

\begin{gathered} |\vec{a} \times \vec{b}|=|\vec{a}||\vec{b}| \sin \theta \\ \quad \sqrt{3}=(1)(2) \sin \theta \\ \therefore \sin \theta=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} \\ \therefore \theta=\frac{\pi}{3} \end{gathered}
