ANSWER:

\left ( \widehat{i}\times \widehat{j} \right ).\widehat{k}+\widehat{i}.\widehat{j}=1

HINT:

 Use the formula

\begin{aligned} &\hat{i} \times \hat{j}=\hat{k} \\ &\hat{k} \times \hat{k}=1 \\ &\hat{\imath} \cdot \hat{j}=0 \end{aligned}

SOLUTION:

\begin{aligned} &(\hat{i} \times \hat{j}) \cdot \hat{k}+\hat{i} \cdot \hat{j} \\ &=(\widehat{k} \cdot \widehat{k})+(\hat{i} \cdot \hat{j}) \\ &=1+0 \\ &=1 \end{aligned}

Thus,

\left ( \widehat{i}\times \widehat{j} \right ).\widehat{k}+\widehat{i}.\widehat{j}=1
