Given:

|\vec{a} \times \vec{b}|^{2}+(\vec{a} \cdot \vec{b})^{2}=144

We know,

\begin{aligned} &|\vec{a} \times \vec{b}|^{2}+(\vec{a} \cdot \vec{b})^{2}=|A|^{2}|B|^{2} \\ \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &144=|A|^{2}|B|^{2} \\ &144=(4)^{2}|B|^{2} \\ \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &|B|^{2}=\frac{144}{16} \\ &|B|^{2}=9 \\ &|B|=3 \end{aligned}
