HINT:

Perform cross product to find the solution

GIVEN:

\begin{aligned} &\vec{a}=\hat{i}+2 \hat{j}-3 \hat{k} \\ &\vec{b}=3 \hat{i}-\hat{j}+2 \hat{k} \end{aligned}

SOLUTION:

\begin{aligned} \vec{a} \times \vec{b} &=\left|\begin{array}{ccc} \hat{i} & \hat{j} & \hat{k} \\ 1 & 2 & -3 \\ 3 & -1 & 2 \end{array}\right| \\ &=\hat{i}(4-3)-\hat{j}(2+9)+\hat{k}(-1-6) \\ &=1 \hat{i}-11 \hat{j}-7 \hat{k} \end{aligned}

Now we know that vector is perpendicular to both vectors \overrightarrow{a} and \overrightarrow{b}

\pm(\hat{i}-11 \hat{j}-7 \hat{k})
