Solution:

\begin{aligned} &\mathrm{R}(\mathrm{x})=(500-\mathrm{x})(300+\mathrm{x}) \\\\ & \end{aligned}

\mathrm{R}(\mathrm{x})=-\mathrm{x}^{2}+200 \mathrm{x}+150000

Differentiating with respect to x,

\begin{aligned} &\mathrm{R}^{\prime}(\mathrm{x})=-2 \mathrm{x}+200 \\\\ \end{aligned}

\text { Hence }=200-2 \mathrm{x}
