\begin{aligned} &f(x)=a \sin x+\frac{1}{3} \sin 3 x \\ &f^{\prime}(x)=a \cos x+\cos 3 x \\ &f^{\prime}\left(\frac{\pi}{3}\right)=0 \text { (At extremum) } f^{\prime}(x)=0 \\ &a\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)-1=0 \\ &a=2 \end{aligned}
