Answer: $2-\frac{x}{\sqrt{x^{2}-25600}}$

Hint: use basic concepts.

Solution:

We know,

$\mathrm{y}=\mathrm{GA}+\mathrm{GB}+\mathrm{GC}$

Then,

$\begin{aligned} &y=2 x+120-\sqrt{x^{2}-160^{2}} \\ \end{aligned}$

$\frac{d y}{d x}=2-\frac{1}{2 \sqrt{x^{2}-160^{2}}} \\$

$\frac{d y}{d x}=2-\frac{x}{\sqrt{x^{2}-25600}}$
