Solution:

Length  =2x

Breadth = 2y

\begin{aligned} &\mathrm{AB}^{2}+\mathrm{BC}^{2}=\mathrm{AC}^{2} \\ \end{aligned}

(2 \mathrm{x})^{2}+(2 \mathrm{y})^{2}=(40)^{2} \\

4 \mathrm{x}^{2}+4 \mathrm{y}^{2}=1600 \\

\mathrm{x}^{2}+\mathrm{y}^{2}=400
