Answers (1)

Answer : $|B|=\frac{1}{3}$

Hint: Here we use basic concept of determinant of matrix

Given:

$\begin{aligned} &|A|=3 \\ &A B=I \\ &|B|=? \end{aligned}$

Solution :

$AB = I$

$\rightarrow$ Let's find determinate both sides

$\begin{aligned} &|A B|=|I| \\ &|A| \times|B|=|I|[|I|=1 \text { and }|A|=3] \\ &3|B|=1 \\ &|B|=\frac{1}{3} \end{aligned}$
