Given:

A is 3 \times 3 order of matrix

|A| \neq 0 \text { and }|3 A|=k|A|

Find value of k

Solution :

\begin{aligned} &\text { Here, }|3 A|=k|A| \\ &\begin{array}{l} 3^{n}|A|=k|A| \quad\left[|k A|=k^{n}|A|\right] \\ 3^{3}|A|=k|A| \\ 3^{3}=k \\ k=27 \end{array} \end{aligned}
