Solution :

\begin{aligned} &\text { Let } \mathrm{C}_{i j}=(-1)^{i+j} M_{i j} \\ &\text { Cofactor of } \mathrm{a}_{32}=(-1)^{3+2}\left|\begin{array}{ll} 5 & 8 \\ 2 & 1 \end{array}\right| \\ &=-1(5-16) \\ &\text { Cofactor of } \mathrm{a}_{32}=(-11) \times-1=11 \end{aligned}
