\begin{aligned} &\Delta=\left|\begin{array}{lll} 0 & 2 & 0 \\ 2 & 3 & 4 \\ 4 & 5 & 6 \end{array}\right| \\ &\Delta=0\left|\begin{array}{ll} 3 & 4 \\ 5 & 6 \end{array}\right|-2\left|\begin{array}{ll} 2 & 4 \\ 4 & 6 \end{array}\right|+0\left|\begin{array}{ll} 0 & 3 \\ 4 & 5 \end{array}\right| \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &=0(18-20)-2(12-16)+0(10-12) \\ &=0+8+0 \\ &=8 \end{aligned}
