Hint: You must know the rules of vector functions

Given: If \vec{a}=x \hat{i}+2 \hat{j}-z \hat{k}, \vec{b}=3 \hat{i}-\hat{y} \hat{j}+\hat{k}are two equal vectors find x+y++z

Solution: \vec{a}=x \hat{i}+2 \hat{j}-z \hat{k}, \vec{b}=3 \hat{i}-\hat{y} \hat{j}+\hat{k}

They are equal vectors, So, \vec{a}=\vec{b}

x \hat{i}+2 \hat{j}-z \hat{k}=3 \hat{i}-\hat{y} \hat{j}+\hat{k}

By comparing

x=3,y=-2,z=-1

\therefore x+y+z=3-2-1=0
