Given:   Find the angle between two vectors  \vec{a} and \vec{b} if \mid \vec{a}\mid =3,  \mid \vec{b}\mid =3  & \vec{a}.\vec{b}=1

Solution: Let \theta be the angle between \vec{a} and \vec{b}

Given that,

\begin{aligned} &|\vec{a}|=3,|\vec{b}|=3 \& \vec{a} \cdot \vec{b}=1 \\\\ &(\vec{a} \cdot \vec{b})=|\vec{a}||\vec{b}| \cos \theta \\\\ &1=(3)(3) \cos \theta \\ \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &\cos \theta=\frac{1}{(3)(3)} \\ &\cos \theta=\frac{1}{9} \\ &\theta=\cos ^{-1}\left(\frac{1}{9}\right) \end{aligned}
