Given:

x(\hat{\imath}+\hat{\jmath}+\hat{k})   is a unit vector.

Solution:

\begin{aligned} &\text { Let } \vec{a}=\hat{\imath}+\hat{\jmath}+\hat{k} \\ &\hat{a}=\frac{\vec{a}}{|\vec{a}|}=x \vec{a} \\ &\Rightarrow x=\frac{1}{|\vec{a}|} \\ &\Rightarrow|\vec{a}|=\sqrt{1^{2}+1^{2}+1^{2}}=\sqrt{3} \\ &x=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} \end{aligned}
