Solution:

Let A is symmetric and skew symmetric matrix

So,

\begin{aligned} &A=A^{T} \; \; \; \; \; \; \; .......(i)\\ &-A=A^{T} \; \; \; \; \; \; \; .......(ii) \end{aligned}

So,

\begin{aligned} &A^{T}=A^{T} \\ &A=-A \\ &A+A=0 \\ &2 A=0 \\ &A=0 \end{aligned}

A is Null matrix
