Hint: Here we use the basic concept of matrix.

Given: If \begin{bmatrix} 2x-y & 5\\ 3 & y \end{bmatrix}=\begin{bmatrix} 6 &5 \\ 3& -2 \end{bmatrix}

Solution:

Here,Both side has 2\times 2 matrix

So we can write

y=\left ( -2 \right )        .....(i)

2x-y=6

2x-\left ( -2 \right )=6      [From (i)]

\! \! \! \! \! \! \! \! \! 2x+2=6\\\\2x=6-2\\\\2x=4\\\\x=\frac{4}{2}=2\\\\x=2
