Given: 2\times2matrix is symmetric and skew symmetric matrix

Solution:

A^{T}=A                                     (A is symmetric matrix)

A^{T}=-A                                  (A is skew symmetric matrix)

\overline{A^{T}-A^{T}=A-\left ( -A \right )}

0=2A

A=0

A=\begin{bmatrix} 0 &0 \\ 0& 0 \end{bmatrix}
