Provide solution for RD Sharma maths class 12 chapter Indefinite Integrals exercise 18.8 question 42

Answers (1)

Answer:

       log\left | sin2x+tan\, x-5 \right |+C

Hint:

        Put denominator=t

Given:

        \int \frac{2cos2x+sec^{2}x}{sin2x+tan\, x-5}dx                .....(1)

Explanation:

Let

        sin2x+tan\, x-5=t

        (2cos2x+sec^{2}x)dx=dt

Put in (1) we get

        \int \! \frac{dt}{t}=log\left | t \right |+C

        =log\left | sin2x+tan\, x-5 \right |+C
