P\left ( Fatima\: gets\: selected \right )=\frac{1}{7}=P\left ( A \right )

P\left ( John\: gets\: selected \right )=\frac{1}{5}=P\left ( B \right )

Solution:

P\left ( Both \: gets\: selected \right )=\frac{1}{5}=P\left ( A\cap B \right )

=P\left ( A \right )\times P\left ( B \right )

=\frac{1}{7}\times\frac{1}{5} =\frac{1}{35}
