Here A and B are independent events

Given:

            P\left ( A \right )=0.3

            P\left ( B \right )=0.6 

Solution:

            P\left ( \bar{A}\cap B \right )=P\left ( \bar{A} \right )P\left ( B \right )

                                   \begin{aligned} &=(P(B))[1-P(A)] \\ &=(0.6)[1-0.3] \\ &=(0.6) \times(0.7) \\ &=0.42 \end{aligned}
