Solution:

\begin{aligned} &P\left(\frac{B}{A}\right)=0.6 \\ &\frac{P(A \cap B)}{P(A)}=0.6 \\ &P(A \cap B)=0.6 \times P(A) \\ &P(A \cap B)=0.6 \times 0.4=0.24 \end{aligned}

Now,

\begin{aligned} &P(A \cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A \cap B) \\ &=0.4+0.8-0.24 \\ &=1.2-0.24 \\ &=0.96 \end{aligned}
