Solution:

\begin{aligned} &P(A \cup B)=0.5 \\ &P(A)+P(B)-P(A \cap B)=0.5 \\ &0.4+0.3-P(A \cap B)=0.5 \\ &0.7-P(A \cap B)=0.5 \\ &P(A \cap B)=0.7-0.5 \\ &P(A \cap B)=0.2 \end{aligned}

\begin{aligned} &P(\bar{B} \cap A)=P(A)-P(A \cap B) \\ &=0.4-0.2=0.2 \\ &=\frac{2}{10}=\frac{1}{5} \end{aligned}
